Fredrik Bernsel, Sales Director for LinkedIn’s EMEA partners, talked about brand advertising on social web at Mindshare Media Summit 2011, this past November 1st.

In his speech, Bernsel presented ways in which advertisers can make use of social business networks like LinkedIn. He discusses the different kinds of data that can be derived from the social web and how brands can use this information to the advantage of their ad campaigns.

On the increasing prevalence of social web, Bernsel comments; “I believe that in the next ten years, the first page you go to visit on the internet is your social media page…that’s the place where we start looking for information and because of that the social media strategy for brands is going to be really important.”
